assembly and a good samaritan

today was the first high school assembly of the year.  the officers planned it and starred in it and woke up before 6:00 a.m. every day this week to get 'er done.  which, of course, means that officer parents have to get up early too.  it was actually a very fine assembly, planned well, very exciting and organized.  i loved it.

jake's over there on the left somewhere.  the theme for the year was introduced today:  don't stop believing.  i think it's pretty funny that i'm back at bountiful high watching an assembly with journey music that was popular when i was a student at bountiful high watching assemblies there.  my favorite parts of the assembly were the video introducing the officers and the rap that david and jake did about believing in yourself.  thumbs up!

sam was the happiest person alive tonight when he found a bag on the front doorstep with this in it:

this a brand new, authentic, sacramento kings jimmer fredette jersey.  the authentic part was very important to sam.  he can't believe someone would just leave it there for him to find.  oh, and don't think he's counting his lucky starts that he found it instead of isaac.
