makeover

caroline has had the same color paint on her wall for a long time.  like six years.  so when she asked if we could repaint, i thought that would be a great way for her to start high school, with a little makeover.  this is the old color:

the white dots are all the nail holes left by caroline.  i warned her and like a good girl after filling all the holes, she said, "mom, you were right.  i wish i didn't have all those nail holes in my walls".  score one for me.  this was never my favorite color.  i like vibrant colors in the gold and red tones.  anyhoo, caroline chose this amazing color called coral reef:

sam saw the paint tray in the washroom and told me that it was probably the coolest color of paint he had ever seen, so i directed him to caroline's room.  we're going to hang up some of her old pictures and a few new ones reflective of her newfound love for traveling the world.
