Evan and Craig are in Virginia checking out the campus and baseball program at Southern Virginia University. It sounds like they are having a great time except for the sudden impressive swelling of Evan's foot. Craig took him to the ER where the doctors initially thought he had been bitten by a copperhead rattlesnake. I asked the obvious question, how can you be bitten by a rattlesnake and not know it? They thought that the snake had bitten through his shoe, so it wasn't a direct hit. In the end they decided to treat him for massive infection. Another exciting medical adventure indeed.
