National Championship

OK, really, who wants to watch two SEC teams play for the national championship.  I guess SEC schools and fans are okay with it, but I wasn't.  Tonight's game was Alabama vs. LSU.  The first time they played each other this season, the final score of the game was 9-6 in overtime:  NO ONE EVEN SCORED A TOUCHDOWN.  Tonight's game started with a slew of field goals until finally, toward the end of the game, we were treated to an actual touchdown.  Bama won 21-0.  I would say that the evening was completely boring, but we had great company.

We invited our friends the Gautavai family over to watch the game.  They have three boys about the same age as Evan, Jake and Isaac.  They are a football-loving family for sure.  Their oldest boy is a friend of Evan's, Camree.  He is leaving on his mission next week--Merida, Mexico.  Some of the kids also invited a few other friends and my trainer, Bryce, and his girlfriend also joined us.  It was a good group.  Good think the conversation was interesting, beause they game was boresville.

Afterwards, at 9:30, Craig had to run out to his parents to help give his dad a blessing.  Doug is having knee replacement surgery today.  He wants to get whipped back into shape so he and Linda can go on a mission.

Glad you had a good group there. We also liked our company, but the game was a real disappointment. Not much interesting happened.
